It's always amazed me how hard some people work, so we can go fishing. There is no sugar coating it. It's the Bravo Sierra of politics. It's thankless really. It's never ending. I'm glad Wayne is at the head of the spear, traveling from one end of the state to the other, in what has to feel like a difficult, complex, and tireless exercise. There are victories however, like the true annual license, or getting worldwide organizations like Surfrider to change their mindset and better understand our viewpoint. We believe he has shown a strong front for all of us who like to catch our dinner, while also caring about the environment, and conservation. That’s why we contributed some of what we have raised on R/V PILAR this year to the CCA of California.
